From Classroom to Construction Sites

2025, FEBRUARY 25Th

Design, electro-instrumental installations, and borderless careers: SITIE’s team brought the worksite’s energy straight into the classroom!

Davide Peverati (COO), Marco Italiani, and Luca Fergnani engaged IIS Copernico-Carpeggiani students with real-world examples, taking them on a journey between workshops and construction sites.

Marco (Designer), brought a tangible case to the classroom: the cable support system for the Fréjus Tunnel. “Knowing your idea was the winning one, seeing it built and installed… that’s priceless”. Students discovered how a technical insight can win international bids and tackle critical tasks.

Luca (Project Manager) proudly explained the phase when electro-instrumental plants “light up”: “Without our cabling and tests, structures remain inert. We’re the ones who bring energy to life, connecting every component like a nervous system”.

A metaphor that sparked debates on tech and career paths.

Special thanks to the school’s leadership and teachers for making this exchange possible – we hope it’s just the first step toward future collaborations!
